Earn Money Selling GLINN Internet Access

Your Home Page on GLINN --- Your business, organization or individual home page can be on GLINN.COM. If you have a gay/lesbian business or group, you should be listed in our guide. There is no cost for a guide listing. If you have a home page, visitors can click on your name and immediately view your home page. In addition, your home page will be listed right here. All it takes to get to this page is a click on the "Home Page" area of the Wisconsin Gay Guide photo icon, or clicking on the Home Pages button on the main guide pages.

In addition to actually having your home page on our site, we can list you here and put in links to your home page wherever it is. This applies to your guide listing as well.

HOME PAGES ON GLINN
Rates include the creation of a standard home page (one hour of labor). Home Page Rates: Businesses: $95.00 per year. Non-Profit Organizations: $75.00 per year. Individuals: $30.00 per year. (Note: Individual pages can not be used to promote businesses or organizations within the state of Wisconsin.) No labor is included in the Individual home page charge. Labor Rate for complicated home pages: $35.00 per hour. (This is less than half what most web site developers charge.)

DIRECT SERVER ACCESS
Our prices are based upon relatively simple setups. If you do your own pages, simply file attach them to email sent to info@glinn.com. They will be posted within 12 hours (or less). If you need to update your pages and have them online immediately and/or you want to have a shorter address (url), we will provide you with your own password protected file directory. You will be able to FTP your files directly into your own directory on our site. To set up the directory and access controls there is a one time charge of $25.00. You can use any access provider and run WIN_FTP or a similar program to upload files to your directory.

GUIDE LISTINGS

Listings in the GLINN Guide are soley at the discretion of GLINN Media Corporation. Non-profit organizations serving the gay/lesbian/bisexual community are listed at no charge. Businesses serving our community are also listed for free. Businesses that are merely gay owned/operated marketing to the general population, or businesses that are merely marketing to our community without being self-identified, will not be listed for free. The cost of a business listing for businesses in this category is only $20.00 per year.

ENHANCED LISTINGS

An enhanced listing is only $15.00 per year. Enhanced listings provide you with up to 20 words of descriptive text, plus you name appears in bold or in color. We will also include a small logo or photo as part of your listing. The cost does not include producing the image or preparing it for display. Those services are available at modest cost.

LINKS TO HOME PAGES ON OTHER SERVERS

GLINN offers an excellent package for your home page on our server. If you already have a home page and do not want to move it, your guide listing can have an active link to your home page and an active email link. Your also get a listing on our Home Pages shortcut page along with a logo/photo. Rates- Businesses: $25.00 per year. Non-Profits: $15.00 per year. Individuals: $12.00 per year.

Note: Your guide listing can include your URL on another server at no charge, but it will not be linked. With a link a visitor only needs to click on your name or URL. If the URL is listed free, they must type in (or cut and paste) your URL to go to your page. This also includes a link on the Home Pages short-cut page and a logo that you provide in JPG or GIF format. The cost of an active link allows you to take advantage of our traffic and direct our visitors to your home page. Afterall, a home page doesn't do much good if people do not see it.

BANNER ADS

Your business or organization can also place banner ads on guide pages. Rates vary depending upon size and placement, but generally a banner ad can be placed in the guide section of our site for only $45 per month for businesses and $30 per month for non-profit organizations. SPECIAL SERVICES

Unlike most WEB and Internet Providers, GLINN also provides low-cost services to help you develop an attractive and useful home page. Some of our services and capabilities include: (1) A high-resolution Ricoh RDC-2 digital camera to shoot photographs for your page. (2) An RCA DSP3 VHS Camcorder to shoot video tape and a Snappy system to capture images from video tape for use on your page. (3) A black and white scanner for text capture and a full color 1200dpi scanner to scan photographs and artwork for use on your page. (4) Sound recording and production equipment so we can put sound clips on your page. (5) We will soon have live streaming audio with Real Audio and I-Wave, and streaming video with a Real Video server. (6) We can produce QuickTime movies with sound, and (7) Capture high resolution VHS video to computer hard drives and edit video with Adobe Premiere. (8) Develop fancy graphics, GIF animations, Java applets, forms or anything else you would like. You won't get any of this on free or low-cost home pages. YOUR OWN DOMAIN

If you do not want to have a page within our "www.glinn.com/guide/" domain, you can have your own domain. We charge only $25.00 for registering your domain name, plus the $100 InterNIC registration fee (covers 2 years). Domains can be hosted on our servers beginning at only $9.95 per month. Domains include FTP access and 3 e-mail accounts, plus access to our CGI directory via the Internet. Call our office at (414) 289-8640 for more information.
